Like to discuss arts from different artists.
What is the meaning by art,and why do some people this.
Is it because of an inner feeling for getting it out.ore will we all be famous?Is art only for a small group?

art is a means of expression...people express diffrnt thngs ..feelings through art...infact expressn ..be it in any form is art.
yeah in a more deepr sense people do it bcoz of an strong innr urge to express but if we chck back at the history it has always been a means of income n then ofcourse of getting fame
i strongly believe art is nt limited to a small group....it is unversal in its appeal.....be it in any form....no one can escape its magic....be it the creator , admirer or the common man who thnks he z got nthng to do wid art...bt actually al of them are contributing towards it in der own way...knowingly or unknowingly..

"Art is the sublimation of the superfluity of time" This is a phrase I quoted somewhere, and I agree with it completely. If one is too busy with one's occupation one cannot devote one's time to painting. Of course you can do painting as a hobby, which also means that you have enough spare time to do it. I think that few people are blessed financially to devote their time to do painting as a profession. There are craftsmen whose livelihood depends on painting, such as people who do reproductions of ancient paintings etc, here in China, craftsmen reproduce masterpieces as in an industry, they paint with their hands and not with their brains, at most they can only be called craftsmen.
"For an artist to create a work of art is not a job, neither is it an obligation, it is a pleasure, a necessity, a destiny. " This is also a quote and I agree with it completely.
There is a Chinese woman who started learning piano at the age of 70, and after 10 years, that is when she is 80 she gave a concert. She had this tendency for music at an early age, but fate did not give her the chance to learn piano. But still she can realize her dream at the age of 70.
