Yes, I visited the grave of Mister Gurdjieff & also Le Prieuré in Avon. Both places are very special and I hope someday you will get the opportunity to be there. It is difficult to explain in words but there is a kind of high vibration field around Mr Gurdjieff's grave ( his mother and wife are burried in the same grave) that sucks you into another state of being, which takes you beyond time, the world around you disappears.
In "Le Prieuré" you can still feel what happened there: the presence of Mr Gurdjieff, the work that was done there. The trees are the witnesses telling you the stories of the golden days. But there also hangs an aura of sadness connected with the loss of the institute and the people connected with it. When I was there the building which was used for the institute & lodging of discipels was a ruin, that can explain my sadness. All the other buildings on the property were in very good condition.
If you are really open, have the guts to confront yourself & involvement with his teachings, Mister Gurdjieff can still do a lot for you. That is my experience, I was very amazed by that!
